Garrett Rackley led the Giles County High School golf team to a 66-stroke victory over Summertown recently.
Rackley, a senior, shot a five under par 31 — a school record.
His teammates posted scores of 37 by Lake Jones and Thomas Lochridge and 39 by Cole Wade.
The even par score of 144 for the team was also a school record.
In a match with Lincoln County, Sevier County, Lewis County and Richland, Rackley shot a 35 to lead his team to a four-way win.
Rackley’s good start to the season has included a scoring average of 35.5.
In the four team match, Jones and Lochridge each shot 38. Chris Hatfield shot 40, Duncan Keaton shot 41, Cody Holt 43 and Wade 45.

The final score of the match was GCHS 151, Lincoln County 173, Lewis County 191 and Richland 198.
