MMC women’s soccer team took to the field for the first time in 2010 against University of Mobile (Ala.) Aug. 26, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
The RedHawks fired off two shots to UM’s one before the Lady Rams found the Martin Methodist net to take a 1-0 lead with 17:18 to go. UM’s Missy Stovall was credited with the goal, assisted by Kelsie Ruff.
MMC’s Mor Efraim (sophomore/Nevatim, Israel) answered Mobile with a goal of her own with just under seven minutes left until halftime. Efraim’s equalizer, assisted by Tatiane Alexio (senior/Jundiai, Brazil), proved to be the final goal for either team.
