The Pulaski Board of Mayor and Aldermen has adopted a resolution to file delinquent taxes from 2018.

Taxes from 2018 will have been due and payable for two years on June 30, at which point they will be turned over to the city attorney.

City Administrator Terry Harrison urged those who still owe city taxes from that year to pay sooner than later to avoid Chancery Court costs and accruing interest fees.

In other business at Tuesday’s meeting, the board:

• Approved parade permits for Giles County Band Backers for the Third Annual Giles County Band Backers Open Car Show Sept. 12 and for the Pulaski Classic Marching Band Contest Oct. 17.

• Received and filed electric, water and natural gas reports.

The board will next meet for a work session at 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 1, at City Hall.
