Prayer Vigil March

Messages and prayers of peace, good health, love and justice for all people throughout the United States and world echoed across the Campus Green at Martin Methodist College as Local Women of Faith hosted a prayer vigil June 19. The prayer vigil included messages and prayers from MMC President Dr. Mark La Branche,  MMC Chaplain Rev. Laura K. McMasters, First Presbyterian Church minister Rev. Amy Stoker, Miguel Hayes, Kedron Turner, Delores Young of Friendship AME Church, Fordie Franklin and Vickie Coleman, both of Campbell Chapel AME Church. Those in attendance joined in prayer throughout the peaceful event and closed out the evening with a walk of unity along Madison Street. Photos courtesy of MMC
