Giles County’s number one thirst-quenching obsession is going to cool you off a bit later than anticipated this year.
The newly titled SunDrop Fest (formerly known as Summer SOULstice) has been postponed, much like all other gatherings recently, due to COVID-19 safety concerns.
“After careful deliberation and out of an abundance of caution and safety for our community, I’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule the SunDrop Festival to Sept. 26,” Historic Downtown Pulaski Director Olivia Officer said.
“It’s disappointing, sure, but our community is most important. This event, after all, is supposed to foster community and fun and we will make sure that happens when conditions are deemed safer for everyone to celebrate together. Everyone’s health and safety are priority. Let’s look forward to this as a chance to celebrate summer together,” she concluded.
Vendors and participants are still encouraged to reach out and become involved.
“If you have something you’d like to do as part of the event, give us a call. Merchandise and vendor applications are available online now at sundropfest.com,” Officer said.
