Obit-Uselton, Laura Pearl McNeese

Mrs. Laura Pearl McNeese Uselton, 95, of Pulaski died May 6, 2020, at her home.

Mrs. Uselton was born Nov. 2, 1924, in Giles County and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Odd Fellows Hall Church of Christ. She was a wonderful homemaker who devoted her life to taking care of her family. Her kindness and thoughtfulness towards others was always apparent to everyone who she came in contact with. She is preceded in death by parents, Dudley Jackson and Lochia Pierce McNeese; husband Edward Uselton; brothers, Cecil McNeese, Jessie McNeese, Harvey McNeese, Herbert McNeese, Charles Henry McNeese, Wallace McNeese, D. J. McNeese; and sisters, Robbie Edwards, Almeda McNeese Attikson, Ruth McNeese Arthur, Kate McNeese, Tiny Dean McNeese and Ella McNeese Harris.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Jeff Jenkins and Charles Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens. Those in attendance should observe social distancing guidelines and avoid personal contact with others.

Survivors include daughters, Connie Uselton Boring and husband Charles, Karla Uselton Townsend, all of Pulaski; son Keith Uselton and wife Penelope of Nashville; grandchildren, Dwayne Hickman and wife Tristan, Grant Hickman and Annie Eliott, Katie Griner and husband John, Anna Dearman and husband James Robert, Jackson Townsend and wife Cara, Parker Townsend, Morgan Townsend; four great-grandchildren; and sister Layde McNeese Sellers of Columbia.
